With each swimwear purchase, we will donate part of the profits to a non-profit organization to clean our oceans, that is developing and scaling technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. Their aim is to put themselves out of business once the oceans are clean.

With 10+ years of fashion industry experience at the likes of Tory Burch, Kate Spade, & Lulu Frost, this vivacious Texas-native turned New York City local is proud to present her swimwear brand: Origin of Oceans (OOO). Kathleen was inspired by her adventurous travels and the beautiful women who inspire her daily: friends, family, colleagues.

In November 2021, Origin of Oceans officially touched down for a 3-part fashion show + cocktail party at a beautiful sprawling Southampton Estate. The Hamptons have a special place in our hearts, with our designer Kathleen Bily & much of our team having spent most of the last 10+ summers there. A big thank you to Yale Fishman of Hamptons Luxury Estates for opening his home in support of this exciting launch. By Niche / Lindsey Higgins produced the event and we were honored to include several wonderful brands in runway styling: Mitzi New York, Kimberly Pucci, Bitsy Stone King Shop, Gloria Lee, Sorabyrd & Goldfine Jewelry.
One of the most unforgettable moments of our launch party was the poolside runway fashion show. The live-feed of the runway was cast on the huge backyard cinema, viewable from nearly every angle of the house. It was a larger-than-life experience. We enjoyed the evening with our closest family, friends, and early brand supporters from The Hamptons and New York City. Big thank you to Good Guice Coconut Rum, A Shore Vibe catering, Maison Lapin Wines, Talkhouse canned cocktails for giving our cherished guests special sips & bites for the evening. DJ Benu kept the beats going and our toes tapping. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect launch for Origin of Oceans!
